LIFE IS BUT A STREAM

At Interscope's star-studded pre-BET Awards party, label boss John Janick joins Director of Playlisting Conor Ambrose and YouTube's Tuma Basa for an in-depth discussion of algorithmic coding before Basa's phone blew up. "Sorry, you guys—I gotta run," he said. "Lyor swallowed his phone again."

"I just ate some of that Rap Caviar," says Interscope exec Joie Manda, during this photo op with DJ Self, Spotify's Amber Grimes and attorney Bob Celestin, "and I feel kinda funny." Later, the security guard from the red carpet showed up and told us to move along.
