U.K. MIDWEEKS: GLYNNE RETURNS

Following a sunny bank holiday weekend in Blighty, Jess Glynne has started at #14 on the Official Singles Chart with "I'll Be There" (Atlantic), her first new music as a lead artist since 2015. Over on albums, Frank Turner (Polydor) is set for this week’s highest new entry at #14.

Glynne’s single arrived on Friday when she performed on the Graham Norton Show. "I'll Be There" is the first new music to be released from her second album following 2015’s multi-platinum selling #1, I Cry When I Laugh.

Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa are heading for a fourth week at #1 with “One Kiss” (Columbia/Warner Bros.), while David Guetta and Sia are up eight places to #11 with “Flames” (Parlophone).

Shawn Mendes' new track with Khalid, “Youth” (Virgin EMI) has started at #35, and Florence + The Machine's new single “Hunger” (Island) is at #36.

On the Official Albums midweek update, The Greatest Showman soundtrack (Atlantic) will clock up a 15th non-consecutive week at #1 should it stay put by Friday.

Plan B is currently the second highest new entry with Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose (Atlantic) at #4. That’s followed by Shinedown with ATTENTION ATTENTION (Warner Music) at #5.

Further down, Jon Hopkins is set for his first U.K. Top 40 album with Singularity (Domino) at #9, while Parkway Drive are heading for a Top 10 career best with Reverence (Epitaph) at #10.
