INNOVATORS HONORED

The second annual Innovation in Music Awards ceremony is set to take place 6/3 in Music City. The event, created to recognize the advancement of music through ingenuity, will be hosted by Bill Werde, director of the Bandier Music Industry program at Syracuse University.

Organizing and producing the IMAs is a group of well-known industry veterans, including Chairman Pete O’Heeron, Executive Producer John Ettinger, Producer and Booker Shanna Strassberg, Event Producer Bret Wolcott and Executive Director/Assistant Producer Marie Wapelhorst.

Honors will be awarded in the following categories:

-Impact in Innovation Award
-Innovation in Music, Music Industry Executive
-Innovation in Music, Artist
-Innovation in Music Live/Touring
-Innovation in Music, National Media
-Innovation in Music, Digital Media
