U.K. MIDWEEKS: SHOWMAN BACK ON TOP

The Greatest Showman mania is still in full swing in the U.K. with the soundtrack (Atlantic) set for its 12th week at #1 on the Official Albums Chart, while breakout hit “This is Me” by Keala Settle has leapt to #1 from #8 on Official Singles midweeks thanks to a few high profile TV performances, including The Graham Norton Show. The Weeknd has the highest new entries on both charts.

The singles top spot is still to play as “These Days” (Asylum) by Rudimental is just 14 sales behind "This is Me" at #2. The Weeknd has three tracks from his surprise My Dear Melancholy (Island) in the Top 20: “Call Out My Name” starts at #7, “Try Me” is currently at #18 and “Wasted Times” is #19. The mixtape has entered the albums chart at #4.

The Vaccines’ fourth album, Combat Sports (Sony), is one step ahead at #3, while Kacey Musgraves is at #6 with Golden Hour (UMG).

Brighton band The Levellers could earn their first Top 10 album in more than 20 years with We the Collective (On The Fiddle) at #9, while the debut album by Cabbage, Nihilistic Glamour Shots (BMG), is at #10.
