ELLIOT GRAINGE: TENTHOUSAND REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL

Things are heating up in a big way for Elliot Grainge and his label, TenThousand, as two of his young artists break wide open.

As for Grainge, the bagel doesn’t fall far from the deli, if you catch our drift.

Powered by millions of streams, Ohio native Trippie Redd is approaching 300k in total activity for A Love Letter to You, while 6ix9ine (pronounced “six-nine”) looks headed for a Top 5 chart bow this week.

The Brooklyn-bred 6ix9ine’s Day 69 (ScumGang/TenThousand) features three tracks now certified gold, including “Gunmo,” the official remix of which features Migos Offset. The song has racked up about 115m streams on Spotify and Soundcloud alone.

Publishing for the rainbow-haired rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, is still up for grabs in the U.S.; according to insiders, some weighty sums are being offered for those rights. Next up for Grainge are the buzzing Reo Cragun and Kristen Hancher. Stay tuned for updates.
