HOOPS, HIP-HOP, MIGOS & MERCH

Migos’ sneaker prints will be all over NBA All-Star Weekend in L.A. The hoops-focused “Stir Fry," which is #3 on our Revenue Chart, is the official song of the festivities, which will be telecast on TNT and ESPN from Friday through Sunday. The trio is expected to get a ton of airtime, and rumor has it that Quavo will play in the Celebrity All-Star Game, which tips off the weekend’s activities Friday at 3pm PST on ESPN. (There’s evidence that he’s got game on YouTube.)

Making the most of the Migos moment, Bravo, UMG’s merch division, commissioned Patrick Matamoros of Saint Luis to design a limited-edition capsule collection “that encompasses all the luxury of Culture II with a hint of rock & roll,” as the press release colorfully puts it. The capsule launches today at Virgil Abloh and Don C's RSVP Gallery in Downtown L.A. Pictured in the preview are some examples of Matamoros’ handiwork, priced from $100-500.
