JUNO NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED

The Juno Awards have released their list of contenders for the most notable prizes in Canadian music today, with the awards being handed out in Vancouver this March.

Arcade Fire led the field with nominations for group, album of the year and alternative album of the year for Everything Now. They also received nods in the single of the year category for the title track, while their album artwork was also recognized.

Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, The Weeknd and Walk Off The Earth are among the nominees for Juno Fan Choice.

Artist of the year nods include Daniel Caesar, Shania Twain, Lights, Gord Downie and Ruth B while The Beaches, The Dead South, The Franklin Electric and The Jerry Cans are among the contenders for Breakthough Group.
