UTA SIGNS LENNY KRAVITZ

UTA has announced the signing of Grammy-winning artist, songwriter, actor and producer Lenny Kravitz in all areas.

Kravitz—an international hitmaker widely known and respected for his eclectic mix of soul, R&B, neo-psychedelia and rock—has scored such hits as Grammy winners "Fly Away," "Again," "Dig In" and his cover of "American Woman," as well as nominated singles "Are You Gonna Go My Way," "Rock and Roll Is Dead" and "If I Could Fall in Love."

As an actor he's equally accomplished, having debuted in Lee Daniels’ Academy Award-nominated film Precious opposite Gabourey Sidibe and appearing in The Butler starring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey. Additionally, he played the role of “Cinna” in the box office smash, The Hunger Games and the sequel, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

More recently, Kravitz has also channeled his artistic pursuits into photography and design. He established and leads interior and product design firm, Kravitz Design which has commissioned projects for luxury residences and public spaces in Manhattan and Miami and for brands like CB2, Kartell and Swarovski.

Kravitz’s team will be led by entertainment industry veteran and UTA Chairman Jim Berkus to cross-departmentally pursue music, touring, fine art and licensing, branding and endorsements. He continues to be represented by International Talent Booking and Craig Fruin at CSM.
