ADMIN MY FRANKENSTEIN: PRIMARY WAVE INKS ALICE COOPER DEAL

Primary Wave has inked an admin and marketing deal with rock provocateur Alice Cooper. The deal not only makes PW the rep for Cooper's catalog of hits, but also for his name and likeness, with its digital division handling touring, e-commerce and D2C initiatives as well.

The deal comes on the heels of PW's splashy pact with Chris Blackwell to form a JV with Blackwell's Blue Mountain, which includes much of the Bob Marley catalog.

Cooper's cataog includes "School's Out," "I'm Eighteen," "No More Mr. Nice Guy," "Billion Dollar Babies," "Feed My Frankenstein," "Welcome to My Nightmare" and "The Black Widow." His '70s work not only brought huge chart success but pushed the envelope of "shock rock" style and Grand Guignol concert spectacle.

Legendary manager Shep Gordon declared his excitement over the deal, noting, "in a very short time we have already seen great things and are looking forward to many more years of great things together. Now, has anybody seen a python? It's about eight feet long..."
