SHAFFER TO HOST GRAMMY PRE-TEL

The Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony—or what we used to call “the pre-tel”—will start at 3pm ET on 1/28 and take place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

Paul Shaffer will be the host and serve as musical director while his friends from the old David Letterman show, World's Most Dangerous Band, will serve as the house band.

Body Count, India.Arie, Jazzmeia Horn, Taj Mahal & Keb' Mo' and Stile Antico will perfom.

Awards in about 70 categories will be handed out during the three-hour ceremony. Zac Brown, Natalie Grant, Bernie Herms, Ledisi, Lisa Loeb, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Jimmy Jam will be the presenters. The Premiere Ceremony will be streamed live on Grammy.com.
