PULSE, MENNELLA EXTEND RELATIONSHIP

Pulse Music Publishing has extended its  relationship with Mary Jo Mennella and her Music Asset Management to continue the exclusive management of Pulse Publishing Administration.

Through the deal, Mennella and MAM’s team will continue overseeing Pulse’s global administration of more than 150 catalogs, including joint venture partners such as Creative Nation out of Nashville, Rick Rubin’s American Songs and Mark Anthony’s Magnus Media and Mass Appeal.

Mennella’s team has been instrumental in Pulse’s international expansion, overseeing global strategic planning. MAM also has oversight of other key international partners such as including direct Pan European digital licensing agreements through IMPEL supported by CTM Publishing (Europe), Native Tongue Music (Australia), peermusic (Latin America), Casablanca Media (Canada), Geoff Paynter (South Africa) and Fujipacific Music (Asia). The latter is Pulse’s financial partner, which in 2014 partnered with the company to invest in creative ventures and aid in the formation of Pulse Publishing Administration.

Scott Cutler, co-CEO of Pulse Music Group, said “In only three years Pulse Publishing Administration has firmly distinguished itself as the ‘go-to’ company that maximizes value for rights owners, and provides a high level of services, expertise and personal attention that delivers results.”

Pulse’s roster of hitmakers includes Marty James (“Despacito [Remix]”), Starrah (“Havana,” “What Lovers Do,” “Feels”), Tyler Johnson (“Sign of the Times”), Rob Mandell (“Bad and Boujee”) and Ruth Anne Cunningham (“Slow Hands”).
