WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK AFTER THIS GUITAR SOLO

Since 12/18 marks the birthday of guitarist Elliot Easton of The Cars, who are due to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (and also because Elliot's a monster musician and much loved around these parts), we decided to revisit one of his most famous solos. The clip below starts just ahead of the 20 seconds of bliss that is Elliot's ripping lead in "Just What I Needed." It's textbook.
