ICYMI: STAPLETON FROM A LATE-NIGHT ROOM

Mercury Nashville's Chris Stapleton, who's nominated for Country Album and Country Solo Performance Grammys and whose new album, From A Room, Vol. 2, is set for a big chart debut and is currently #1 at iTunes, performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live (guest hosted by actor Chris Pratt) earlier this week.

In addition to rocking a couple of powerful tunes from his new set, Stapleton showed his flair for the comedic with host Pratt, an adoring fanboy. He did a sweet panel session that included some Tennessee whiskey, and joined Pratt for "The Wheel of Cheesy Duets." He took the high vocal on the Dirty Dancing chestnut "(I've Had) The Time of My Life," proving he can sing ANYTHING and raise goosebumps. As a pop crooner, meanwhile, Pratt is, well, a very handsome actor. Check out the duet, the chat and two performances below.

From A Room Vol. 2 is, unsurprisingly, the #1 country album on iTunes as well AS OVERALL, and for a time its predecessors, From A Room , Vol. 1 and Stapleton's 2015 breakout, Traveller, were right behind it on the country breakdown; they remain in the Top 5 there.
