WE'RE DREAMING OF A PTX CHRISTMAS

Thanksgiving may have just passed, but it's never too early to start counting down to Santa's arrival. Just ask RCA's Pentatonix, whose precursory festivities include their own NBC TV special, A Very Pentatonix Christmas, which aired on 11/27.

The three-time Grammy winners, who recently released a deluxe version of 2016's platinum-selling A Pentatonix Christmas album will get an encore airing on 12/6 at 8pm ET/PT, just three days after the group kicks off their A Pentatonix Christmas Tour, which starts with three sold-out nights at The Chicago Theatre; see a full list of dates beneath a sneak preview clip of their performance of "How Great Thou Art" with Jennifer Hudson.

PTX has four of the Top 15 holiday albums this week: #1 A Pentatonix Christmas Deluxe, #8 A Pentatonix Christmas, #10 That’s Christmas to Me and #12 That's Christmas to Me (Deluxe Edition). Meanwhile, PTXmas (Deluxe Edition) can be found at #22.

On iTunes' overall Top Albums chart, A Pentatonix Christmas Deluxe is #2 and A Pentatonix Christmas is #24, while That's Christmas to Me and its deluxe edition are #30 and #32 respectively.
