U.K. MIDWEEKS: GOTTA HAVE FAITH

Paloma Faith is eyeing her first U.K. Official Albums Chart #1 while a sales flash has pushed Morrissey's 11th album to #2 at the midweek mark. Rita Ora, meanwhile, is challenging Camila Cabello for #1 over at the Official Singles Chart.

Faith’s fourth album, The Architect (RCA), has a lead of 4,000 combined chart sales ahead of Morrissey's Low in High School (BMG). Our Generation, the debut SYCO album from Britain's Got Talent winner Tokio Myers, is sitting at #3. The new live album Wembley or Bust (RCA) from Jeff Lynne's ELO shines a little love at #5 right behind Sam Smith’s The Thrill Of It All (Capitol).

A new Iron Maiden live album, Book of Souls: Live Chapter (BMG) is the week’s other top newcomer, currently holding onto at #10.

At singles, Cabello’s Havana (Epic/SYCO) is 2,000 streaming equivalent sales and downloads ahead of Ora's Anywhere (Atlantic). Other risers include Marshmello f/Khalid's “Silence(Ministry of Sound), up two slots to #3 and Ed Sheeran's “Perfect” (Atlantic), which is up to #4 from #6. Also rising in the Top 10 is comedy rapper Big Shaq’s “Man's Not Hot” (Island) at #6.
