SPOTIFY'S SECRET GENIUSES ARE LINED UP

Spotify's inaugural Secret Genius Awards ceremony will be held 11/1, hosted by alternative hip hop artist Lizzo and with performances from the likes of Shawn Mendes, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Halsey, Erika Ender and more.

Taking place in L.A. at the Vibiana Cathedral, the Genius awards aim to shine a light on some of the top singer-songwriters of the moment. Artists and icons like Ryan Tedder, Mike Posner, Steve Aoki, No I.D. and more will be presenting awards, with Frank Ocean presenting the first Legendary Genius Award to producer Rick Rubin.

The awards are split into 13 categories with nominations going to Ender, Benny Blanco, Prince Charlez and more. Nominees are selected based off Spotify streaming numbers from the eligibility period (4/1/16-7/1/17), while winners are voted in by the Spotify Peers Voting Committee.
