ALMOST ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS: THE ROQ BRINGS THE ROCK

Look for some loud (acoustic) guitars and classic Alternative vibes—and a stage dominated by dudes—at KROQ's forthcoming Almost Acoustic Christmas, returning to L.A.'s Fabulous Forum on 12/9-10. Check out the lineup below. As you'll note from the full lineup in the graphic, amped-up bands like Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Rise Against and Thirty Seconds to Mars will stomp across night one's festivities, along with hip-hop firebrands Prophets of Rage and Run the Jewels and formidable format friends Cold War Kids and Judah & the Lion.

Night Two brings classic Roq flavor with the legendary Morrissey, Weezer, The Killers and more, not to mention masters of the acoustic realm The Lumineers, hitmakers Walk the Moon and Gallic adventurers Phoenix.

How acoustic will it be, with so many power-chordists in the lineup? We shall see.
