NOLAN TO THE TOWER

Capitol Music Group’s in-house division for brand partnerships and sync licensing, seventeenfifty, has a new SVP in Brian Nolan. The announcement was made today by COO Michelle Jubelirer, to whom Nolan reports.

Coincidentally, 1,750 also represents the amount of times industryites have asked us to refrain from running their photos this year. Ah, well.

Following 12 years at Columbia Records and Sony Music—where he most recently served as Columbia’s VP of International Marketing—Nolan joins CMG with the goal of generating and maximizing revenue streams while focusing on both new and developing talent and established stars.

"Brian has such a broad base of experience within the music industry, and he has clearly excelled in every position he’s held,” shares Jubelirer. "He knows the intricacies of artist development first-hand, and is so well-suited to integrating the role of seventeenfifty into our overall marketing efforts to build and enhance careers in ways that are consistent with the creative paths and images of our artists. We are thrilled that Brian has joined the CMG family.”

"I want to thank Steve Barnett, Michelle Jubelirer, and Ashley Newton for the incredible opportunity to lead seventeenfifty," says Nolan. "Producing game-changing opportunities that align with the creative visions of our artists is at the core of our department, and we will do that better than any of our competitors."
