TRL ADDRESSES VEGAS TERROR DURING LAUNCH

Hosts DC Young Fly and Tamara Dhia opened the first episode of the TRL reboot with prayers for Vegas and a call to action.

"Last night in Las Vegas a horrible tragedy took place. It was the deadliest mass shooting in our country's history," they began. "Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. For us, it hits especially hard because it took place at a concert packed with people of all ages, coming together to share a common bond—the love of music."

"Now is the time to take action. Visit everytown.org/act to get more information about how you can prevent gun violence."

"So even though our hearts are hurting right now, we're not gonna let that stop us and break that bond. Instead, we're gonna keep going and lift each other up."
