FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

It’s a good day for established hitmakers on flipover Friday as Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and Shania Twain lead the way on the iTunes albums chart.

The sixth albums from Lovato, Tell Me You Love Me (Island/Hollywood/Safehouse), and Cyrus, Younger Now (RCA), are 1-2 on the iTunes chart followed by the deluxe edition of Twain’s first album in 15 years, Now (Mercury Nashville).

Tamar Braxton says her new Loganland release, Bluebird of Happiness, will be her last; it flies in at #4.

After 10 singles, an EP and two mixtapes, A Boogie wit da Hoodie has released his first album, The Bigger Artist (Atlantic). It’s #5 at iTunes and #9 at Apple Music, making it the top debut among streaming albums. Labelmate Tank is right behind him at #6 with Savage.

The third, self-released album from Ivy League-educated rapper Hoodie Allen, The Hype, opens at #8.

Primus’s eighth album—and their first in three years—The Desaturating Seven (Prawn Song/ATO) pops in at #9. Pearl Jam’s live album from their Wrigley Field shows, Let’s Play Two (Monkey Jam/Republic), has been bouncing between #10 and 11.

On the songs side, Mi Gente by J Balvin & Willy William f/Beyonce (Republic/UMLE) is #1 less than 24 hours after its release.
