WHY DON’T WE PUT OUT AN EP?

Invitation, the new EP from Why Don’t We, the boy band assembled and mentored by Dave Loeffler and Randy Phillips, has landed at #1 on the iTunes album chart just hours after its release. It’s the group’s fourth EP in the last 10 months, but the first since Atlantic’s Craig Kallman signed Why Don’t We to an elephant-bucks three-firm deal.

The five-track release is priced at $3.99.

The release date on a quiet Wednesday all but ensured that the group would make its iTunes debut at the top of the chart—very clever. We’ll be watching to see how well the EP holds up on flipover Friday.
