FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Country music is having a pleasant morning with three of the four top titles at iTunes on this flipover Friday. The leader, BMLG’s Thomas Rhett, is also doing something rarely seen at Apple Music.

Rhett’s Life Changes, his third album, is #1 at iTunes and in the Top 25 at Apple Music, where it is the week’s highest charting full-length release. It is the only country album in the Top 100 at the streaming service as well.

Back at iTunes, The National’s seventh album Sleep Well Beast (4AD) is #2 followed by two country albums: Dustin Lynch’s Current Mood (Broken Bow) at #3 and Kip Moore’s Slowheart (MCA Nashville).

Jack Johnson’s first album since 2013, All the Light Above It Too (Brushfire/Republic) is #5. The third album from ODESZA, A Moment Apart (Foreign Family/Counter), comes in at #6.
