BEEB'S BIRTHDAY PARTY IN BRIXTON

The BBC’s new-talent support program Introducing is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a gig at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 10/4. George Ezra, Nao, Blossoms, Slaves and The Big Moon are among the acts on the bill, with more to be revealed soon.

BBC Radio 1 DJs Huw Stephens, Annie Mac and Phil Taggart, along with BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson will host the night of live performances from acts who have all received support from BBC Music Introducing at the start of their careers.

Since its launch in 2007, Introducing artists have gone on to release 14 U.K. #1 singles, 68 Top 10s, 28 #1 albums, two of which are claimed by Ezra (Columbia) and Blossoms (Virgin EMI), and 54 Top 10 albums, with two of those from Virgin EMI band Slaves, between them.
