U.K. CHARTS: BIEBER POPS IN AT #2

Justin Bieber is this week’s highest new entry on the U.K’s Official Singles chart at #2 with BloodPop collaboration “Friends” (Def Jam/Polydor/Republic), thanks in part to high streaming stats.

Dua Lipa is #1 for a second consecutive week with “New Rules” (Warner Bros.). The track is a high performer on iTunes and Spotify, sitting at #1 on the latter’s U.K. Top 50 today and #3 on the iTunes chart.

Little Mix ended the week at #5 with their reworking of CNCO's Latin hit “Reggaeton Lento” (Syco).

Elsewhere in the Top 5, Calvin Harris is at #3 with “Feels” (Columbia), followed by P!nk and “What About Us” (RCA) at #4.

Two tracks make their Top 10 debut this week: “Mi Gente” (Polydor) by J Balvin and Willy William, and "More Than Friends" (Warner Bros.)—a dance re-work of En Vogue’s ‘90s hit “Don’t Let Go (Love)"—by James Hype f/Kelli-Leigh at #10.

Over on the Official Albums Chart, prog rocker Steven Wilson is indeed this week’s highest new entry with fifth studio album, To The Bone (Caroline International), ending the week at #3. Ed Sheeran has reclaimed the top spot—÷ (Atlantic) has racked up 2m sales since its release in March—followed by Elvis Presley’s 50 Greatest Hits (Sony Music CG) at #2.

Pop punk indie band Neck Deep sit at #4 with The Peace and the Panic (Hopeless), and Everything Everything are at #5 with A Fever Dream (RCA).

The debut album from new Infectious band The Sherlocks, Live for the Moment, enters at #6, followed by drum and bass duo Chase & Status with fourth LP, Tribe (Virgin EMI), at #7.
