GREER HEADING TO DEF JAM AS EVP MARKETING & COMMERCE

Scott Greer is moving to Def Jam as EVP of Marketing & Commerce, starting next week. In his new post he’ll oversee marketing, digital, commerce, branding and creative content initiatives at the label.

Greer most recently served as EVP at Capitol Music Group, and prior to that as SVP Marketing at Columbia; over the course of his career he’s worked with Adele, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Lil Yachty, Sam Smith, Halsey, Daft Punk, Jack White, Pharrell Williams, J Cole, Beck, Mary J. Blige and John Legend, among many other artists.

He will be issued his turntables and crossfader immediately upon assuming his new post.
