The rich keep getting richer. "Despacito" (UMLE/RBMG/Def Jam/Republic), the ubiquitous smash from the cross-cultural power trio of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber, runs away with the BuzzAngle-powered Song Revenue Chart yet again, by a healthy margin of $90k.
We the Best/Epic's DJ Khaled continues to hold down the #2 and #3 spots with a combined total of $236k and change. French Montana f/Swae Lee's "Unforgettable" (Bad Boy/Epic) is up 11%, falling just short of vaulting past Khaled and posse’s “I’m the One.” Frenchie’s “A Lie,” meanwhile, enters the chart at #38.
The real action, though, is in the second five, as Island’s Demi Lovato makes an aggressive +64% upward move with “Sorry Not Sorry,” while Interscope’s Selena Gomez debuts at #8 with “Fetish.” Watch these two tracks closely—they’re just getting started.
Marketshare breaks down thusly: UMG 54%, SME 33%, WMG13.
