Legacy Recordings, Heads Music and Certified Classic held a listening party Wednesday in New York for Wyclef Jean’s first full-length album in eight years, Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee. At the event, Wyclef got some face time with Heads Music CEO Madeline Nelson and Legacy President Adam Block.
Featuring contributions from Emeli Sande, Supah Mario, The Knocks and Lunch Money Lewis, the album comes out 9/15, the 20th anniversary of Wyclef’s debut, The Carnival.
In keeping with the carnival theme, Adam demanded cotton candy, a regrettable choice given his subsequent misadventure on the Tilt-a-Whirl.
