Shazam users on both sides of the Atlantic have given a jolt to Arizona’s April release “Electric Touch” (APG/WMG). The tune is the biggest mover on Shazam’s U.S. Top 100 and the U.K.’s Top 100.
The track, co-written by Republic’s Julia Michaels, is up 183 slots to #18 Stateside and sitting at #19, a rise of 182 slots, in Blighty. A collection of remixes of the song was released 6/30.
“Ways to Be Wicked”—a track from Disney’s Descendants 2 and not the Lone Justice classic—is the week’s second greatest gainer as excited young thumbs have pushed Dove Cameron & Sofia Carson & Cameron Boyce & Booboo Stewart up 124 slots to #77.
Netflix’s To the Bone has pumped Jack Garratt’s “Water” (Island) back into the Top 5 of biggest movers, pushing it up 108 slots to #46. New singles from The Chainsmokers (Disruptor/Columbia) and Island’s Demi Lovato round out the Top 5.
In the U.K.,Louis Tomlinson’s “Back to You” is up 189 slots to #12 and Mo’s “Unsteady” is up 187 to #14.
