LANA DEL REY PREVIEWS ALBUM WITH SPOTIFY PERFORMANCE

Lana Del Rey previewed her brand new album Lust For Life by hosting a special listening party for her biggest fans, presented by Spotify at Hollywood hotspot No Vacancy.

Playing to a hip, fashionable and eclectic young crowd that clearly takes cues from Del Rey's own retro chic style, the passionate appeal of this artist was evident not just with the people in the room but the throngs of fans that stood across Hudson Street outside the club, hoping to get a glimpse of her.

Lana, wearing her hair pulled in a low bun and rocking casual Addidas track pants, was down-to-earth, chatty and charming, kicking off the event saying, "I've never done this before, a listening party...but I'm so happy to be here with you tonight, at one of my favorite places."

Among the tracks she previewed included "White Mustang," "Cherry," "Summer Bummer" f/A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti a fabulous duet with Stevie Nicks called "Beautiful People Beautiful Problems" and "In My Feelings."

After the preview she took questions from fans, which became pretty entertaining after multiple proposals and selfie requests.

With her signature hypnotic vocal floating over truly sophisticated production, Lust for Life successfully flexes a vibey feeling of retro Zero 7 and Thievery Corporation beats, this new album is some of the strongest material Del Rey has put out yet.

The Polydor UK/Interscope album currently sits at #1 on iTunes.
