Mercury Nashville's soulful songsmith Chris Stapleton stopped by the Today Show this fine Tuesday morning to perform as part of the Summer Concert Series.
"Broken Halos" and "Second One to Know," which are on recently released, critically acclaimed set From a Room: Volume 1, were played, as well as "Tennessee Whiskey"—from breakout full-length Traveller. At press time, the albums are #3 and #6 on the iTunes chart, respectively.
Stapleton, who doesn't need to be in Nashville to rock his signature cowboy hat with pride, is expected to drop From A Room: Volume 2 later this year. Stay tuned for an official release date, as the Grammy chatter around Volume 1 heightens.
