FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Selena Gomez’s new Interscope single quickly makes it to #1 just 24 hours after its release, while Coldplay’s five-song EP leads a charge of seven new titles in the iTunes Top 10 on flipover Friday.

Coldplay’s Kaleidoscope EP (Parlophone) opens at #2 followed by the second album from Island’s Brit duo Oh Wonder, Ultralife.

French Montana’s second album, Jungle Rules (Bad Boy/Epic), swings in at #4. His first release in four years, it is #39 at Apple Music, the highest debut for today’s full releases. Fearless Records’ compilation Punk Goes Pop featuring State Champs, Dance Gavin Dance and 11 other acts is #5.

Kristin strikes out from Pentatonix with her solo debut LOVE, a six-song EP from RCA. Ms. Maldonado is at #8. Another RCA release, from Nigeria’s biggest pop star, is #9: WizKid’s Sounds From the Other Side.

Canadian hardcore act Silverstein is #10 with their Rise release Dead Reflection.

On the singles side, right behind Selena Gomez f/Gucci Mane’s “Fetish” is Demi Lovato’s Tuesday release “Sorry Not Sorry” (Island) at #3.

Over at Apple Music, Tyler, the Creator’s upcoming Columbia release Flower Boy opens at #5 on the strength of just three songs being released. Similarly, with only three songs out, Lana Del Rey’s Lust for Life (Interscope) comes in at #10 a week prior to its proper release.
