DRAGONS FIRE UP NEW SPOTIFY FEATURE

Spotify continues to pump up the volume on the bells and whistles it offers its users. The industry’s leading streamer just announced that it has added its Rock This feature to its enhanced multimedia playlist

Rock This offers users a plethora of interviews, videos and other goodies of their favorite bands. Imagine Dragons, whose third album Evolve drops today, is the featured band during launch week.

“Music is instant and so accessible now, so it's more important than ever to establish a real connection to our listeners. We're happy to help launch the Rock This enhanced playlist,” ‪Imagine Dragons said in a statement.

“Rock This helps to redefine the genre by celebrating the full spectrum of rock, focusing this unique fan experience on artist discovery, authenticity and community," said Allison Hagendorf, Global Head of Rock for Spotify. “We are excited to bring the integration of video content that will give fans an in-depth look into the newest songs from the bands they already love, as well as the bands they are about to love.”
