Sony/ATV Co-Prexy Danny Strick and team celebrate winning Pubco of the Year at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards, as well as assorted Songwriter of the Year and 20 performance awards. Later, ASCAP's Paul Williams asked why he gets so much Sony/ATV email from himself. Paul Jeffries (Drake) and Allen Ritter (Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna) took Songwriter of the Year trophies, and several of their songs took performance trophies. Also earning multiple wins were Boi-1da, Fetty Wap and Dwayne Chin-Quee.

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis took the Voice of Music Award, and a posthumous Founders Award went to Notorious B.I.G.
