The Creative Community for Peace is hosting a private viewing of Paul Simon Words & Music, an exhibit organized by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum at the Skirball Cultural Center in L.A. The host committee comprises Geffen President Neil Jacobson, BMG President Repertoire & Marketing Zach Katz, Sony/ATV Co-President Rick Krim, UMPG President of North America Evan Lamberg, Oasis Media Group CEO David Lonner and Spirit Music Group Chairman David Renzer.
A special performance of Disturbed's Grammy-nominated cover of "The Sound of Silence" by frontman David Draiman is scheduled to occur.
Attendance costs $54. Space is limited. Click here to register.
Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres can be expected at 6:30pm, the program and special performance is scheduled for 7:30pm, and a private tour of the exhibit will follow at 8:30pm. And from what we've gathered, picking up his Album of the Year Grammy for Still Crazy After All These Years, holding it up to your ear and pretending to hear the ocean is highly discouraged.
