THE RETURN OF GEORGE EZRA

U.K. Columbia artist George Ezra is kicking off his long-awaited second album campaign with a new single on Friday, "Don't Matter Now," his first since 2015. The news was revealed on social media earlier today with a short teaser video that you can watch within.

It will be the follow up to his million-selling debut, Wanted on Voyage, which, after entering at #3, eventually hit #1 in the U.K. in 2014. It was named the third best-selling album of the year on over 670k copies. The new set will be released under the fresh Columbia presidency of Ferdy Unger-Hamilton; previous leadership duo Mark Terry and Alison Donald were the ones to sign and break the artist. He's managed by Ryan Lofthouse at Closer Artists.

Ezra joins Capitol man Sam Smith in the list of hotly anticipated comebacks from British solo males expected this year.
