U.K. CHARTS: ARIANA SOARS TO #2

Ariana Grande has risen 10 places to hit #2 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart with the One Love Manchester charity version of “One Last Time” (Island). Registering 2.9m streams and 61k downloads, it is her fifth Top 10 single. Over on albums, where Grande’s latest returns to the Top 20, Roger Waters is the highest new entry at #3 with Is This the Life We Really Want? (Columbia).

“Despacito” (Polydor) by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee f/Justin Bieber is at the top spot for a fifth week in a row with 8.8m streams and 43k downloads. Further down, DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One” (Black Butter/Def Jam) is #3 and “Strip That Down” (Capitol) by Liam Paynef/Quavo is #4. “Unforgettable” (Black Butter) by French Montana f/Swae Lee is up one place to #5.

There are two more notable gains in this week's Top 10: Jonas Blue's “Mama” f/William Singe (Virgin EMI) rises two spots to #6 while Niall Horan scores his highest solo spot with second single “Slow Hands” (Virgin EMI) vaulting 14 places to #7.

High risers who performed at One Love Manchester last weekend include The Chainsmokers and Coldplay's “Something Just Like This” (RCA), which rises nine places to #16 on singles, and Liam Gallagher’s “Wall of Glass” (Warner Bros.), which enters the Top 40 at #21.

Oasis' classic chart-topper “Don't Look Back In Anger” (Big Brother) returns to the Top 40 for the first time since May ’96 at #25 as the band's retrospective Time Flies 1994 – 2009 leaps 11 spots to #8 on albums.

On the Official Albums Chart, despite sliding to #5 midweek, Ed Sheeran is back at #1 for an 11th week with ÷ (Atlantic). After Waters, the second highest new entry is new Warner act Dua Lipa with her self-titled debut set entering at #5.

The Beatles’ 50th anniversary edition of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Apple Corps) has moved down to #2 and Rag’n’Bone Man is at #4 with Human (Columbia).

British band Alt-J are the third highest new entry with Relaxer (Infectious) at #6, followed by All Time Low at #7 with seventh album Last Young Renegade (Atlantic).

Hank Marvin claims his fourth Top 10 album with Without A Word (Demon) at #9, and a 30th anniversary release of U2’s The Joshua Tree (Island) enters at #10. Halsey debuts at #12 with her second collection hopeless fountain kingdom (Virgin EMI). Buyed by the Manchester concert, Grande’s Dangerous Woman climbed 18 spots to #11.
