Justin Bieber is quite the earner. His remix of "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee (UMLE/RBMG/Def Jam/Republic) stays on top of this week's BuzzAngle Music-powered Song Revenue Chart, while DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One” featuring the Biebs (We the Best/Def Jam/Epic) holds onto #2. And next week will undoubtedly make the Bieber balance even weightier by way of his just-released collab with David Guetta, “2U” (What a Music/Def Jam).
Otherwise, there’s a paucity of drama in the Top 50: The six biggest moneymakers on the chart are in the same positions this week as last, while nothing debuted in the top 35; Bryson Tiller’s “Self-Made” (Trapsoul/RCA) enters at #38. Two more tracks from his True to Self, last week’s SPS #1, debut in the 40s, while another RCA track, Troye Sivan and Martin Garrix’s “There for You,” debuts at #45, and “Butterfly Effect” from Epic’s Travis Scott slides in at #50.
The marketshare standings are: UMG 50%, Sony 30%, WMG 19% and the indies 1%.
