This week, a mysterious outdoor advertising campaign sprung up across NYC and continued to curiously appear all over the biggest hip-hop blogs on the Internet, leading fans to speculate that the possibility of a new Jay Z album is real.
From Times Square to the top of every taxi cab and even the Jay Street subway stop, the exact purpose of the campaign is still unknown, but eagle-eyed fans examining the source code behind one of the online ads tied it directly to Tidal.
Notoriously secretive, no one can confirm if Jay has a project loaded in the chamber but we do know he's been working in the studio, notably with Swizz Beatz who dropped some hints on IG as well as DJ Khaled, who is never silent on social media.
Jay dropped his last album Magna Carta… Holy Grail four years ago on July 4 via an exclusive Samsung promotion that gifted a million copies to fans who owned Galaxy phones.
