Typos. We fix ‘em. Other people refuse to admit they make a mistake and get a spokesman to suggest their made-up word has a secret meaning. We won’t do that. In fact, we’re pretty sure this week’s HITS High Five is both typo-free and devoid of covfefe.

With three or four major releases hitting every Friday, the crush has created a logjam at Top 40 radio, adding extra intensity to the battle for slots.

Sony Music’s U.K. services arm Red Essential has been merged with the London office of The Orchard in what's believed to be a worldwide consolidation of distribution and marketing services for indie artists and labels.

The BeatlesSgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band turns 50 and the special edition from Apple/UMe has topped the U.K. charts, been remixed for the cinema, streamed often at Amazon, and impressed our critic.
