FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

The Top 10 at iTunes has a unique look this morning on flipover Friday. The highly anticipated second Mercury Nashville album from Chris Stapleton, From a Room: Volume 1, is #1 followed by the deluxe edition Logic’s equally anticipated Everybody (Def Jam).

And at #3, we have the standard version of Logic’s third album. If there were only one release would it be topping the chart? Who can say at this early hour. Everybody is #3 at Apple Music.

Farther down the iTunes list Motionless in White’s Graveyard Shift (Roadrunner) is working late at #6. Brandi Carlile’s charity project Cover Stories (Looking Out Foundation), which features artists such as Adele, Dolly Parton, Pearl Jam and Margo Price covering her songs from The Story, is #7.

RussColumbia debut There’s Really a Wolf settles in at #8 and lands at #10 on Apple Music. It’s followed one slot later by Diana Krall’s all-standards program Turn Up the Quiet (Verve). Indie darling Mac DeMarco nabs #10 with This Old Dog (Captured Tracks).

Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” (Capitol), released Thursday, continues to hold #1 on the songs chart.
