TRAVIS SCOTT
GETS LYORED

Lyor Cohen has screwed over another one, it appears. Cohen’s LCAR Management has filed a lawsuit against former client Travis Scott claiming the rapper owes it at least $2m, according to the terms of the three-year contract Scott signed in Oct. 2014, entitling the company to 15% of everything he makes in entertainment. This according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Scott has only paid about $37k, according to the suit, which seeks an accounting of what he's earned in order to be paid in full. LCAR says it's made repeated efforts to get the dough since 2015, but all they got was a letter from Scott's attorneys saying their services were no longer needed.

According to the story, Travis felt he was managing his own career as Cohen and company weren't lifting a finger for him, so he left for a better management company.

One would assume that Cohen, now YouTube’s Head of Global Music, would have better things to do with his time than filing what TMZ describes as a frivolous lawsuit.

Sources told TMZ that Travis signed the deal in good faith—thinking if he held up his end of the contract, so would Lyor—apparently not aware of Cohen’s pattern of picking the pockets of those in business with him.
