PROMOTION TO EVP IS MANDA-TORY AT IGA

Effective immediately, Joie Manda is being upped to EVP of Interscope Geffen A&M, reporting to Chairman/CEO John Janick.

Manda joined the company in 2013; he most recently held the post of President of Urban Music for Interscope Records, where he played a key role in signing and/or overseeing releases by 6lack, Rae Sremmurd, Tory Lanez, Mike Will Made-It, Dreezy, Playboi Carti and Machine Gun Kelly, among others.

In addition, Manda worked on partnerships with J. Cole (Dreamville), DJ Mustard (10 Summers), YG's 4 Hunnid and Atlanta's LVRN Records (known for 6lack and D.R.A.M.). Manda also launched his own JV with Interscope, Rule #1.

"Joie has a great understanding of where music and culture is headed," Janick declared. "He’s one step ahead. I’m thrilled to be able to give him the platform he deserves to continue to sign and develop artists across our entire company."

"These last four years at Interscope have been both transformative and incredible," said Manda. "John encourages and supports real creativity every single day. I’m excited to keep building here alongside him, Steve Berman, Aaron Bay-Schuck and the best record company in the business. As you can tell from my headshot, I'm ecstatic."

If you're wondering how to pronounce Joie's first name, the "J" is silent.
