SPOTIFY TO TRIPLE LONDON HQ?

Spotify is said to be eyeing up a swanky new London office that will treble the size of its current space and allow for a number of new employees. The move mirrors plans to relocate its New York HQ to the 4 World Trade Center, adding 1,000 jobs in the process.

In the U.K., Spotify’s offices currently take up around 20k square feet near Oxford Circus. There are advanced talks underway to relocate to a new home down the road in the art deco Adelphi Building, where space would be closer to 60k square feet, according to The Standard. At last count, staff members were at 180 in Blighty. Plans are likely to be contingent on a successful IPO/direct listing.
