GAGA'S COACHELLA DROP AND OTHER iTUNES NEWS

With a new Lady Gaga track leading at #1, Interscope has three of the Top 4 songs at iTunes. Gaga's "The Cure," which dropped in the wake of her hit-studded Coachella set, flew to the top position more or less instantly; "Stay" from Zedd & Alessia Cara sits at #2 this morning, while another big track from an Interscope festival star, Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE." (TDE), occupies the #4 slot.

Atlantic's Bruno Mars has the #3 tune with "That's What I Like," while Republic's Julia Michael's has moved to #5 with "Issues," followed by Columbia's Harry Styles, now at #6 after a bracing SNL performance. Sam Hunt is at #7 with "Body Like a Back Road," while the Justin Bieber-enhanced remix of "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee (Universal Music Latin) moves up to #8. Asylum/Atlantic's Ed Sheeran and Columbia's The Chainsmokers/Coldplay collab round out the Top 10.

Kendrick's new TDE/Interscope monster, DAMN., remains the #1 iTunes album.

Bargain pricing, meanwhile, has powered some key soundtracks, notably Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Moana and RCA's Trolls, to fresh receipts. And Sunday's Recording Academy/Ken Ehrlich-produced Bee Gees special on CBS, which earned excellent ratings, has pushed two of the Gibbs brothers' albums up: Capitol's Greatest is #6 and the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever is #12 after moving into the Top 10 immediately after the show.

On the streaming side, Kendrick is positively controlling the Apple Music songs chart, owning 14of the Top 16 tracks (A1/Freebandz/Epic's Coachella star Future and Atlantic's Lil Uzi Vert own the #14 and #15 spots, respectively).
