LGM LAUNCHES IN LONDON

Dutch electro pop outfit Jo Goes Hunting, indie pysch bandMono Club and alt pop artist Amaroun performed Monday night at the launch of LGM Records at London music industry haunt Groucho Club. Ian Dench, who was VP of A&R for Epic Records during the Amanda Ghost era, is Development Consultant. LGM’s first release will be a Jo Goes Hunting single titled “Winner” in early summer. Mono Club’s album is due late 2017. The label has a distribution deal with AWAL and a publishing division in partnership with Sentric Music.

Alongside his career as a musician, Dale previously managed acts such as Lyla Foy, set up a label with Black Cab Sessions founder Chris Pattinson, and has run live music nights at venues such as The Groucho, Madame Jojo’s, 93 Feet East and the Rock Garden.

As well as his brief stint at Epic, Dench (alongside Ghost) has written songs for Beyonce, Shakira, Jordin Sparks and The Prodigy. He also penned '91 hit "Unbelievable" for his own band, EMF.
