The team at Randy Goodman's Sony Music Nashville is expanding once more. Veteran exec Dennis Reese has been tapped as SVP Promotion at RCA Nashville, effective 4/1; he'll report to SMN EVP Promo & Artist Development Steve Hodges, who made the announcement.
Reese, who most recently served as SVP Promo at Epic and held that title previously at Capitol (working at the latter label for 11 years). He is currently in search of the best kale-and-quinoa salad in Music City.
"Dennis has a rock-solid reputation in the industry, excellent relationships with many of our key partners and a real passion for our format and roster," enthused Hodges. "I am elated to have him lead the RCA Nashville team in this exciting and ever-evolving world."
Noted Reese, who began his career as a radio programmer in Miami "This is a dream come true for me. It is such an honor to be a part of RCA Nashville and the Sony Music Nashville family, and, I can’t thank Steve and Randy Goodman enough for inviting me to join their team. I look forward to being able to say 'Hey Buddy' without irony."
