FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Rick Ross is the Bawse at iTunes and Apple Music as his first album for Epic—and ninth overall—Rather You Than Me starts flipover Friday at #4 on the streaming side and #2 on the sales chart.

No. 1 in sales is the latest release from Elevation Church in Charlotte, N.C., Elevation Worship’s There is a Cloud (Provident). With the Provident release, Sony Music has six albums in the Top 12 this morning.

Ross’s Rather You Than Me has a guest list that includes Future, Nas, Meek Mill and Chris Rock making it #2 at iTunes and the only new full album release in the Top 15 at Apple Music.

Depeche Mode’s first studio album in four years, Spirit (Venusnote/Columbia) graces #4 while Spoon’s “Hot Thoughts” (Matador) fills #6.

Blossom (Republic) from the German duo The Milky Chance pours in at #7 followed by the debut album from Zara Larsson, So Good (TEN/Epic) at #8.

A discount on classic albums has pushed Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” (Epic) into the Top 10, delaying the Top 10 arrival of SoMo’s The Answers (Republic) and Pitbull’s Climate Change (Mr. 305/Polo Grounds/RCA).
