TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Thumbs have gone wild in the last week asking two diametrically opposed questions. One is, “who’s throwing shade on this diss record?” The other is “who is this lovely gentleman crooning over this gentle melody? “The answers— Nicki Minaj and Neil Young—are the Biggest Movers on this week’s Shazam USA Top 100.

“No Frauds,” the YMCMB/Republic track that finds Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne going after Remy Ma, is up 176 slots to #25. Young’s 1992 track “Harvest Moon” (Reprise) is #39, up 162 slots after a prominent sync on HBO’s Big Little Lies. The series’ fans are really liking its theme song as Michael Kiwanuka’s “Cold Little Heart” posts another week in the Top 10 among the Biggest Movers.

Minaj’s Shazam impact does not end with “No Frauds.” She is not only featured on Jason Derullo’s “Swalla”(Warner Bros.), which is up 79 slots, she gets in another Remy Ma diss on her verse.

Jack Garratt’s 2105 cut “Weathered” also benefited from HBO exposure. The Island-released song rose 157 slots to #44 after an emotional final scene on Girls. It’s also catching on in the U.K.—up 131 slots—where new tracks from Ed Sheeran and Stargate f/P!nk & Sia are among the biggest movers alongside Maren Morris’ “My Church” and Thunderclap Newman’s classic “Something in the Air.”
