WAZE, SPOTIFY OFFER DIRECTIONS FOR A SONG

Ask Waze for directions to San Jose and the next thing you know, Spotify could be playing Dionne Warwick for you. Spotify playlists are being integrated into the Waze app over the next few weeks to give users access to music and driving directions on the same screen.

Waze is starting to roll out the feature today and over the next few weeks users will be able to navigate with Waze from within Spotify, access personal Spotify playlists from within Waze and easily change tracks, and, when stopped, switch between apps with one tap.

Once set up, music will play automatically when a journey begins. You just probably don’t want to be listening to Dave Matthews’ Crash.
