STARGATE SPLASHES DOWN WITH SIA, P!NK ON BOARD

Break out the tørrfisk and brennevin: Stargate has signed with RCA and will release their debut single, “Waterfall” f/P!nk and Sia, on Friday.

The Norwegian duo Stargate—Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen—wrote the song with Sia, Diplo and Jr. Blender. 

Known for drawing inspiration from hip hop, electronic music and classic Scandinavian songwriting, they have written and produced major records for Beyoncé (“Irreplaceable”), Rihanna (“Don’t Stop the Music,” “S&M, “Diamonds”) and Katy Perry (“Firework”). They produced Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams after Chris Martin lost a bet that he could eat an entire smalahove.
